ANISS AND STEVEN
I met Aniss a few years ago when we shared a lovely office space together with a few other talented creatives. She is an extraordinary milliner and brought her sense of style and creativity to her and Steven's wonderfully unique wedding celebration.
Their celebration was infused with Iranian traditions whilst also keeping everything totally untraditional. An extraordinary party, where everyone was keen for a good time!
Aniss blew all the guests away in her extraordinary red gown with a beautiful fascinator, hand-made by her of course!
They certainly took the term 'wedding DIY' to the next level. They styled and made everything themselves, even the amazing hanging flower arrangement. They went to the flower market and picked up the lot themselves, and Steven being the genius architect that he is was able to make the feature flower hanging.
Not only that but they both designed the extraordinary light fixture that hung from the ceiling, using design hints that reflected Annis' Iranian heritage, and Steven was able to work out the engineering and turn the design into a real-life feature!
